I just want it to stop... but my traitorous heart screams for you in the dark, ripping my body to shreds as it struggles to get what it should not have.

Why? Why did you make me love you? Why did you take my soul captive and then grind it under your heel? I trusted you! I always have, since the moment you first freed me. And now... now I know it was all a lie. No more. I cannot bear the lies. You fill me with false words, your touch burns on my flesh...

Just a note here. This is from rp. It's not an actual snippit from the rp moment, I reworded Micheal's feelings after being betrayed by his lover and thrown into hell. Poor baby.

EDIT: This is done with prismacolor pencils on black cardstock.

And the scanner *really* munched it >.<

ah, so beautiful. i love the blood red wings. also, this white outlining that you do, it's like your signature! :D

the lighting could have been a little more intense, but that's just personal preference. :)

Have I mentioned yet that I LOVE the pose? The wing postitions are pulled off exceedingly well, and the timorous filters of light are a wonderful touch. The lighting around the arm seems odd, like it's just floating there, but this'd be easily fixed by placing a shadow under it. The wing on the left is the same way. Gorgeous job, as always though :)
