Crit discouraged IS on this piece. Please don't suggest changes. I have no intentions of revisiting the image and I am WELL aware that it is peppered with flaws. And I know that makes me sound like a horrid bitch, but please understand my position. I had a deadline, and had an UTTER block. I *am* disappointed in this piece, and have only put it up to assuage the curiosity of a friend (and get them to stop nagging me). So having people 'critique' it only serves to irritate the hell out of me and make me even more annoyed with the drawing. I can see the flaws just fine myself, this isn't an example of what I typically do, art wise. Sorry.
Not one of my better pieces, I'm afraid, but someone asked to see one of the illustrations for baen that they couldn't access. Sooo... done for baen publishing for the baen's universe magazine.
Done in watercolors. What happens when jess hits on a deadline and is still blocked and WAY tired x.x

I put crit discouraged on this as it was a finished piece done on a VERY short deadline for a specific purpose. It's done now so I have no desire to revisit it.

I noticed that most people who say "Sorry for my English," in their siggies are better at speaking English than most people who have spoken English their entire lives.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Please FULL VIEW all these amazing pieces of ART. Visit the artists pages and give them a :+fav and your support. Thank you for taking the time........
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. I understand the theory of evolution.
I also understand, that at a certain point in human evolution, something went horribly horribly wrong.
