For those who were asking or wondering, the flowers on her belt are each about an eight of an inch big...... a detail is here [link]

And sorry about the reuploads, just adding a border to it, as the prints were coming too close to the image itself.

For a dear friend...

Motherhood isn't easy. I'ts the hardest thing you'll ever do in your life. You'll make sacrifices every day that no one will notices.

Acts that would be considered herculean if anyone else did them, are expected from you..... after all, you are a mother.

Your heart will get broken time and again by your children and the choices they make.

So why? Why do it?

Because it's worth it. Every time you look up and see those sparkling eyes. Every time you help your child take one more step down life's path. I promise you, no matter how hard it gets, or how scary it seems... it really will be worth it.

Words cannot express how happy I am for you my dear... so perhaps this gives you some idea?

For Apis, ne? =) Its gorgeous! I spotted it on the front page and new it was yours. There seems to be alot more detail than usual. IT love the colours too. They go so well together.

Ah, pillow gun. Where danger and comfort meet. Two hundred thread count, meet two hundred dead count. :ohnoes:

Hogwarts Live!
This is beautiful as is the rest of your works

Oh no! My Karma ran over your Dogma! I hope it can recover nicely.
Beautiful work on Motherhood which gives a woman those beautiful wings and lightness while her baby is putting on weight :)
:+fav:
Very nice. I like the blue background, I feel it gives it more of a motherly feel to the piece. I also love the pregnant tummy. *pats pregnant tummy* The butterfly wings are lovely too... what made you decide to go with them instead of bird or bat wings though? Since I often personally associate butterfly wings with cute light seeming pixies, I find it almost gives a sense of lightness to an obviously (and beautifully) weighted figure... an interesting juxtaposition indeed. :)
It's just beautiful.

The woman is lovely and her dress is amazingly well done, the folds really make it look
Sorry about the unfinished comment. -_- Accident.

It's just beautiful.

The woman is lovely and her dress is amazingly well done, the folds really make it look stunning. The detail on the wings and the little butterflies blows me away, not to meantion you did them so well they really look like butterfly wings. Mine always looks like bat wings with markings...

Is there some symbolism with those flowers there?
This is an incredibly beautiful piece, the details and colors are stunning, and the text you put with it is very wonderful, great work!

I think this would make such a gorgeous mother's day card, a lot more beautiful and meaningful than much of what's out there.

How utterly, fabulously, completely beautiful. Perhaps, in my own eyes, the very best of anything I have ever seen you do, in truth, the expression is pure emotion, pure exhaultation, pure artistry.
I am truly stunned by the depths of your skill. :)

This is beautiful, the butterflies and the general choice of colours makes this seem incredibly life like, the folds in her dress are perfect, and the dark background makes the colours all the more jewel like.
