a word of advice, before you seek such persuits.... your powers of observation just may save you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Done in colored pencils. Yes I am in a twisted mood. Edit: It seems I need a justification as to why I put this in macabre and horror. I am not fond of the cliche, cheesy, gothicy, and *blatant* horror that so many on da seem to favor. It doesn't scare me and rarely interests me. I prefer the horror that you don't notice until it's too late to get away. I prefer the horror that you have to *look* at to understand. The signs are all there in this piece, enough to give you pause *if* you look at it. Use your eyes people. The most frightening things are those that are hidden beneath the beautiful. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Again, this came out absolutely fucking gorgeous!!! I can not beleive the massively brain damage inducing amount of detail you put in her clothing. Even her fan and her umbrella for gods sake. Her kimono is so vibrant and beautiful. It almost reminds me of the Japanese weddings kimono that have the herons on them. This somehow works without a background..it really makes it have that minimalistic oriental feel (even though the details are FAR from being minimalisticXD)
