Bael. Noble once, owned countless slaves, learned his trade well, next in line to take over as one of the leading slavers and dealers in fallen angels. Proud, arrogant, headstrong and confident in his fate. And then his world crashed in. Now a slave himself, and reknown as one of the best trainers of slaves, sought after for his numerous... skills. And desired for the simple reason that he is the last of the line that the demon Fate was bred from...Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Simple fate. Yes?
Done in colored pencils.
And yes, he does have a tattoo on his body. It's a dragon going up his back, the head comes down his shoulder and opens to flames. The wings overlap his own, and the tail twines around his tail. The writing along the tattooed wing is the name of his slaver, and words proclaiming his status as a slave.
Very interesting story and extraordinary picture. Your work tends to have depth in it's meaning which is an admirable trait as an artist. Very nice work!

"...one of the leading slavers and dealers in fallen angels..." Strange -- that's exactly what my ambition is listed as in my high school yearbook. But alas, that course was closed, so I took art instead.
Gorgeous picture! I love how the wings join his body and the tattoo is beautiful, but what's most compelling about this shot is the mood of it. His posture, the lighting, the colors chosen all give an air of weight, as if he's not just fallen, but is being crushed by the emotional weight of that fall. Beautifully done.

Oaahhh.... That skin tone...so rich and earthy in this. I love how pliable you've made his skin look, with all those detailed tattoos breaking up the softness. He's definitely as alluring and fascinating a persona as you've always described. So many detailed earrings and piercings and...braids. This really makes me want to do some Bael fanart even though I know that'd be tediuos..but that'd be half the sadistic fun of it!
The whole piece itself has that somber sense of encloser to it...as if this reflects more of a state of mind in that featureless background the way it presses traps him in and the way he's bared to the world, as it were.
My fav part? His....ankle....the way the light and shadow plays across that bony landmark. It's just...awesome! You can definitely see the love and devotion you put into this one. I must o_o
